Physics Teaching Resources
for the Masses

A creative high school Physics teacher shares her resources here – for free!

Why Use this Site?

My course mission statement is:

“Observing patterns in our world

and using our knowledge of math

 to model these patterns”

I believe that Physics content should be accessible to ALL students, at ALL math levels. It should no longer be the ‘elite’ science.

EVERYONE should have the educational opportunity of exploring our natural world through the lens of mathematics – that is Physics

Differentiation

I am dedicated to creating learning opportunities that align with the individuals in my classroom.

Engagement

Historically, Physics has been presented in a dry, algebraic manner. I strive to provide engaging activities for my classes.

Aligned to Standards

Learning activities are designed with the foundation of NGSS.

What You'll Find

For each topic, I've shared worksheets, rubrics, lab activities, reading materials, and project details.

A few important points...

Shout out to the website physicsclassroom.com

Many of the reading materials I provide for my students come from physicsclassroom.com. They have great examples and are written in high-school appropriate language.

The documents are meant to be a starting point

I've shared my raw documents: They will need to be edited for your use. Still, I believe they will save you time and give you new ideas.

Stored in google, but created in MSWord

I prefer MSWord over GoogleDocs. If you convert my .docx to a google doc the layout and graphics may be a mess!
